The Homestead Heights Neighborhood

The traditional streets of Homestead Heights are accentuated with splashes of cultural color, including the Savoia Pastry Shoppe and the El Conquistador Restaurant, which serves Puerto Rican and other Hispanic specialties.

Many of the homes maintain their original features, such as dark gumwood trim and hardwood floors. Every season finds children playing together and neighbors mingling in the yards and parks of the neighborhood. In the warmer months, neighborhood streets feature volunteer-maintained flower pots that adorn just about every corner.
